FEB UNAIR AND LINCOLN UNIVERSITY NZ EXTEND INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIP IN A STRATEGIC MEETING

GUEST LECTURE COLOCIEUM FEB UNAIR LINCOLN UNIV NZ(FEB NEWS) Surabaya, January 23, 2024 - Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) and International Undergraduate Program (IUP) Lincoln University, New Zealand, extended the international partnership program in a Strategic Meeting held in Tirtodiningrat Hall, 2nd Floor FEB UNAIR.

This meeting was an important moment to discuss the expansion of partnership not only with the Department of Sharia Economics, but also with other departments in FEB UNAIR. On this occasion, the parties discussed the best scheme to improve international collaboration programs to provide greater opportunities for students and lecturers of FEB UNAIR.

Also attending the meeting were delegates from Lincoln University, including Prof. Christopher Gan - Head of Department of Financial and Business System, Lincoln University NZ, Director - Master of Business (Finance) Program, Lincoln University NZ, and Annie Goh - Director International at Lincoln University NZ. From FEB UNAIR, Vice Dean III FEB UNAIR - Dr. Ahmad Rizky Sridadi, and the management of FEB UNAIR.

One of the main points discussed was the extension scheme of the international partnership program between FEB UNAIR and Lincoln University. Both are committed to providing greater opportunities for students to take part in international collaboration programs.
From Lincoln University, Annie Goh introduced the Manaaki scholarship, a fully funded scholarship program for master and PhD programs. This scholarship program opens opportunities for students and lecturers from Universitas Airlangga to join the program, increasing the accessibility of international higher education.

Cooperation between the two is not only beneficial for students, but also enriches the academic and cultural experience at both institutions.

The agreement resulting from this meeting creates a positive momentum to improve the quality of international education and academic collaboration between FEB UNAIR and Lincoln University NZ. The extension of this cooperation program is expected to make a positive contribution to the development of quality human resources on both sides.
Crucially, the meeting emphasized the commitment of both institutions to support the SDGs, particularly the goal of quality education (SDG 4). Prof. Christopher Gan of Lincoln University introduced the Manaaki scholarship, a fully funded initiative for master's and PhD programs. This scholarship not only provides a gateway for students and lecturers from Universitas Airlangga to engage in international education but also aligns with SDG 4, ensuring inclusivity and access to quality higher education.
The extended partnership between FEB UNAIR and Lincoln University goes beyond benefiting students, contributing to the enrichment of academic and cultural experiences at both institutions. The resulting agreement from this meeting is anticipated to create positive momentum in enhancing the quality of international education and academic collaboration between the two entities, making a substantial contribution to the development of high-quality human resources on a global scale.
